With design elements of the original 1950s F-40 and the 1997 45th Anniversary, the 16" Valencia features solid curly maple back and rims, ebony fingerboard and bridge, natural abalone and pearl top trim, and the "Deco" series fingerboard inlay. Like the other Guild Custom Shop acoustic models, the Valencia features a triple-A grade Sitka spruce top with the Guild Custom Shop's signature "floating X" scalloped bracing pattern.
With the handcrafted combination of ebony, spruce and maple, the Valencia's tonality is improved. The maple body produces a brighter sound with cut and definition. Available with a hand-bent Florentine cutaway as a special option. The Valencia is offered in Blonde, Antique Burst or Black nitrocellulose lacquer finish.
